This is an artist’s rendition of a new fun-loving dinosaur sure to put a smile on the faces of visitors to Rotary Park. She should be on display by the end of May.
Children will be encouraged to visit regularly so they can have their photos taken and measure their height when standing next to this humorous beach-going lady who will be holding a measuring stick. And visitors will be encouraged to assist Rotary in raising funds for more community projects by leaving donations in the purse of this new dinosaur attraction.
Construction of the 6-foot-tall Parasaurolophus is being carried out by Dinosaur Valley Studios.
“Rotarians feel this is a worthy project that will enhance the experience of everyone visiting the park. Thousands of visitors and local residents flock to Rotary Park to enjoy family outings that are sure to help children enjoy the outdoors,” says Club President Bev Krabsen.
Rotary Park is home to the famous water fountain and kiddies splash area.
Krabsen adds, with the support of the public, Rotary is looking forward to raising funds for the club’s 100th anniversary project in 2024, a project that will result in a legacy for the community.
