Clothing drive helps local women in need

Ladies Clothing Drive

The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce held their ninth annual Women in Business Mixer on Thursday, October 22, adding a charitable component this year with a clothing drive to collect new and gently used ladies’ office wear.
The Salvation Army will help distribute the clothes and any woman in need of office-appropriate clothing, whether to obtain a job or attend interviews, can make an appointment with family services coordinator Amanda Courtenay with the Salvation Army. These items are kept separate from sale items in the thrift store, and an appointment is required.
