Drumheller RCMP are investigating a suspicious person in the Greentree area last week.
On Friday, October 9 the RCMP issued a press release regarding an incident on Monday, October 5. At approximately 4:15 p.m., Drumheller RCMP received a report of a suspicious truck near the Greentree park in southeast Drumheller.
It is alleged a lone adult male was looking at children playing at the park and then called two students that got off a bus towards his truck. A bus driver told the children to go home, and the truck sped off.
The suspect truck is described as a 3/4 ton red truck, with a licence plate cover on it that is meant to defeat photo radar.
Drumheller RCMP are asking anyone that has information on this incident, or may have seen a truck matching the description with the unique licence plate cover on it in the area, to contact them at 403-823-2630.
