Drumheller RCMP have arrested two individuals who are facing drug and property crime charges.
On July 13, following an investigation into street-level drug trafficking, Drumheller RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a home west of downtown Drumheller.
The RCMP located a large amount of money, substances suspected to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, prescription pills, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a bag of copper wire which was believed to be stolen property.
Michael Douglas Farmer, 38, of Drumheller is charged with:
· Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of prescription pills for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of property obtained by crime
April Margaret Couturier, 33, of Hanna is charged with:
· Possession of property obtained by crime
Farmer and Couturier were released with conditions and will be appearing in Drumheller provincial court on October 16.
