Drumheller man facing drugs, weapons charges

Drumheller RCMP have arrested and charged a male with drug and weapon offenses

In the early hours of July 3, as a result of a recent investigation into the street-level drug trafficking activities, Bryan Robert Burrill, 34, of Drumheller was arrested for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

At the time Burrill was arrested, a search found him to be in possession of a large amount of money, pre-packaged cocaine, stolen property, and a prohibited weapon.

Burrill has been charged with:

· Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking

· Trafficking in a controlled substance (x2)

· Possession of property obtained by crime

· Possession of a prohibited weapon

· Failing to comply with an undertaking

Burrill was with released on an undertaking with conditions and his next court appearance is October 16, 2020 in Drumheller provincial court.
