Times have been tough lately but it’s good to look back at some fun memories.
On February 12, we held our Club Communications Day. The placements are as follows: Junior public speaking, Chelsea Thacker 1st, Intermediate public speaking, Malenna Olsen 1st, Gillian Gridley 2nd, and Payton Wood 3rd. Intermediate presentations, Joey Moench 1st, Caleb O’Brimchak 2nd. Senior public speaking, Dani Varga 1st, Owen Guldberg 2nd, and Ashley McNaughton 3rd. Chantal Schipper placed 1st for Senior presentations. All 1st and 2nd place winners moved onto Districts.
On February 18 our Club went skiing at the Canyon Ski Hill, in Red Deer. We had 21 skiers/snowboarders.
District Communication Day was on March 7 at the Morrin School.
The placements for our Club are as follows: Chelsea Thacker placed 2nd in Junior public speaking. Malenna placed 1st for Intermediate public speaking. Dani placed 2nd in Senior public speaking and Chantal placed first in Senior presentations.
Unfortunately, Regional Communications Day is cancelled, as well as all 4-H events, until May 31.
