New ownership at Dinosaur Trail Golf Club

IMG 7024Good news for golfers this spring, as the Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club, has new ownership and is hoping to open in the near future, depending on current circumstances with COVID-19.
Chi Ha Park, owner of the Valley Truck and Carwash and ESSO service station, along with some partners have purchased Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club. Park tells the Mail he never wanted to see the course close, and wants to make sure it doesn’t miss a season.
‘We have to keep it going,” he said.
He hopes to open the course in due time, in step with the provincial government’s policies as concerns over the COVIDS -19 virus remains.
He admits he is new to golf and has never played, but felt it was important to the community to have the course remain, and hopes to learn the ropes quickly.
The Mail first reported that in late summer 2019, the golf course was up for sale. Despite the hard work of the board to secure a deal, early in the new year, the course went into consented receivership.
