The St. Anthony’s Junior Varsity Sabres basketball team are league champions. On Wednesday, February 26, the Sabres hosted the league semi-finals and topped Ecole Francophone d’Airdrie Griffons with a score of 52-29. The following evening the Sabres were at Airdrie Christian School for the league championship. They topped Airdrie Christian School with a score of 42-29. That wraps up the season for the Junior Varsity team. Charli Calon rises over a defender for a basket last Wednesday evening.
