The Drumheller Minor Hockey Association received a grant from Hockey Alberta of $2,500 to help purchase half ice boards for the Drumheller Memorial Arena. This year it was mandated by Hockey Canada that Novice and Tykes will play on half ice. This is to promote more puck touches and player development. The new boards allow the association to quickly and safely divide the ice for games. The coaches and the Novice and Tyke players show their appreciation for the addition.
