The Rotary Spray Park water fountain is again open to the public after water samples were approved by Alberta Health Services on Monday, August 13.
Repair work was completed last week to underground pipes at the fountain, which were corroded and had been leaking unknown amounts of water underground. The fountain had been closed this summer for the repair work, which was contracted to a specialized company.
Last week, AHS took samples of the water to determine if it was safe for public use.
The Town of Drumheller would like to thank the public’s patience while the fountain was closed for the work to be done.
