Order of Canada winning author Jacqueline Guest launched her latest book ‘Death by Dinosaur’ at the Drumheller Public Library today. The book is set in Drumheller where the protagonist Sam Stellar works at the Royal Tyrrell Museum as a summer student. She discovers a special fossil goes missing and the story evolves into a classic who-dunnit story as she finds out who is responsible. “I wanted to empower girls with a strong female lead,” says Guest, adding the novel is filled with real scientific facts to spur young imaginations. The young adult novel is available at the Royal Tyrrell Museum, where all copies are signed, and from online retailers.
