The mandatory evacuation was lifted on Wednesday, April 25th at 2:00PM. Residents of Wayne and Highway 10X were informed that they were able to return to their homes.
The local state of emergency remains in place and Highway 10x is still only open for local traffic.
The Town of Drumheller continues to work with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency and other provincial agencies as we monitor the situation.
Please stay away from river banks as they may have been undercut by the high water levels and river flows remain high.
