The Village of Carbon has a new member of council as Dan Clow gets ready to take his seat at the table.
A by-election was held on Friday, February 2, to replace Clark Garrett, who stepped down shortly after the October general election.
Dan Clow and Judy Quintin-Arvidson let their names stand in the by-election.
Mr. Clow told The Mail that he received 91 of the 129 votes cast. Results are unofficial.
Clow is a long time Carbon resident and wants to bring his perspective to the council table.
“I am hoping to be a positive, progressive, integral piece of this community moving forward based on the values that we have worked so hard to establish,” he said.
