Two brothers have learned the spirit of giving, and it comes from the efforts of the FunTeam and RecTeam Hockey.
The 24th annual FunTeam Charity Games were held on December 3. This is where players bring in food donations for The Salvation Army Food Bank. To underline the true meaning of giving, organizers don’t simply ask for a donation, but rather encourage each of the players to go out and earn what they wish to donate.
Nicholas and Thomas Chapin, son of Cam and Marnee, have made it a tradition to support the effort and on Saturday, December 16 held a barbecue at Freson Bros. They raised $400 and used the funds to purchase groceries for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
This is the fourth time the duo has undertaken the endeavour.
