Flags at half mast to raise awareness of gender based violence

flags

Flags are at half-mast on government buildings throughout Drumheller, December 6, to mark The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This was established in 1991 by Parliament to mark the anniversary of the tragic shooting at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal where 14 young women were killed.
