Chopped Leaf support DinoArts

imagechopped

On June 30, 2017, members of the Drumheller DinoArts Association received a donation from the new Chopped Leaf restaurant in Drumheller. The Drumheller DinoArts Association gave the sabre tooth tiger in front of The Chopped Leaf a fresh coat of paint earlier this summer and as a thank you, The Chopped Leaf provided a generous donation to the group.

Funds donated to DinoArts are matched by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, and are used by the group to cover the costs of repairing and painting the “cementosaur” dinosaurs around town, and to purchase new dinosaur structures and art pieces. The DinoArts Association is very grateful to The Chopped Leaf for its support.

The group has some exciting upcoming projects this year, including a new dinosaur to be installed by the Napier Theatre, the re-painting of the dinosaur footprints along the sidewalks downtown, and the painting of the Co-op dinosaurs.

At the donation are DinoArts members Barb Lubinski, Marley Henneigh, Kalon Sykes (left side front to back) and Cory Miles (back right) along with Nathan Bosch of The Chopped Leaf (front right).
