Dinosaur Trail RV Resort opens new camping cabins

ribbon cutting

Holiday Trails owner Kevin Demers, left, along with managers Betty and Doug Callbeck cut the ribbon opening the new cabins at Dinosaur Trail RV Resort in Drumheller.

Dinosaur Trail RV Resort, a member of Western Canada’s largest RV camping network, opened six new camping cabins and a three-room sleeping cabin at Drumheller’s busiest campground. The RV resort and campground is located less than 5 minutes from the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

Surrounded by friends, local businesses, the Drumheller Chamber of Commerce, Town Councillors, Drumheller Tourism, Alberta Parks and other interested public; Betty and Doug Callbeck, Managers at the Resort, were excited to show people around the cabins at the grand opening.

Betty stated, “We have spent the last few months renovating and outfitting the cabins and are proud to have them open for everyone’s use. We are the only local RV Resort to have a heated pool; as well as playgrounds, canoes, recreation hall, store and tons of children activities.”

The cabins feature all the luxuries of home while enjoying the great outdoors.  Each cabin comes complete with its own parking spot, outside covered deck, firepit, full kitchen, free WIFI, TV and Blu-ray, washroom and shower and can sleep 4 to 6 people.
