Danielle Scoffield, a Grade 8 student at Carbon School, won Honourable Mention in the “Think Globally Art Contest” sponsored in part by the Government of Alberta. Danielle was treated to a night in Edmonton, a presentation of awards and a tour of the Alberta Legislature Building. David Eggen, Minister of Education, presented Danielle’s painting which was displayed in the Legislature Building.
