The 2017 Jayman BUILT MS Walk in Drumheller is on course this morning, Sunday, May 7.
Dozens of walkers turned out at the Badlands Community Facility to raise awareness and funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Many on the route have been touched by the effects of MS and are showing their support to fund research and provide services for those with MS.
Money raised through the Jayman BUILT MS Walk goes to fund local programs and services to help people effectively manage and cope with MS. It can also be directed to research into treatment and a possible cure.
Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world.
