Drumheller Valley Secondary School was chosen as one of three Alberta schools to receive a Youth Environmental Engagement Grant this year, enabling them to start a composting program at DVSS, through the Alberta Emerald Foundation.

Teacher Jason Rasmussen will guide the program and students will come up with various composting initiatives for the school to adopt.
