For the second year, the folks at Westergard Ford are lending their support for those in need in the Valley with Toys for Tots.
Last year they introduced the event and thanks to the generosity of the community, they were able to bring in heaps of gifts that are donated to the local Salvation Army to be used in Christmas hampers.
“We filled the back of two pick-up trucks, and we are shooting for three this year,” said Tiffany Andrew at Westergard Ford.
From now until December 10, those wishing to support the event can bring an unwrapped, new toy to the dealership to be added to the donation.
The event wraps up on Saturday, December 10, when they will be hosting a family fun day. This will include Christmas activities, sleigh rides and an appearance by Old St. Nick.
“We just wanted to do something for the community, a way of giving back. Christmas is always a hard time,” said Andrew.
