The Heritage, Arts and Culture Steering Committee has approved its first round of grants to various arts and culture projects taking place in Drumheller over the next year.
“The Committee was impressed with the variety of applications received and it is great to be able to support these organizations.” said Darren Goldthorpe Manager of Recreation, Arts and Culture.
“Examples of projects supported include Drumheller CosmiCon and Alberta Culture Days which are both fun community events which show art and culture in its widest form”.
Mike Todor a member of the committee congratulated all the successful applicants on delivering such fantastic projects.
The Heritage, Arts and Culture Steering committee is made up of elected officials, members of the administration team at the town and volunteer members of the public.
