The Co-op parking lot was packed for the 9th annual Mini Chucks for Charity on Friday morning, July 29 sponsored by 910 CFCW Radio and Co-op. Local businesses put their best foot forward and rode the mini chucks around the track for the chance to win $1,500 for charity. The winner, Kendra Sommerville of Western Financial stands with Sharel Shoff, showing off her trophy. The winnings will be donated to the Greentree School Breakfast Program. After the prize money was won, the kids took a spin. A young racer grins after she takes the lead in her heat.
