Pictured above is local real estate agent and Drumhellerite Gary Chambers who participated in the 24 Hours of Adrenaline from Saturday July 16, at noon until Sunday July 17 at noon in Canmore, AB this weekend.
It was clearly a wet weekend. Gary said, "It was a gross, muddy, cold night of racing." The Mail caught up with him while he was in the middle of the race on Sunday morning, "We are just working out the details of our final push."
The 24 Hours of Adrenaline is a massive mountain bike relay race where teams of up to 10 people ride as many laps as possible in 24 hours. The event takes place in several cities around the world.
Gary is on a co-ed team with four guys and one girl.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the Canmore Race and Gary has raced 13 of the 20 years.
Let's help by cheering him on for the final stretch of his race!
