Thunder rolled through the valley Saturday with Motorcycle Madness. The Last Chance Saloon parking lot was chock full an estimated 125 bikes of all makes and models for the show and shine and bike games. The numbers were increased when a group from Calgary, members of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group, came by. About 40-50 were in town for their annual ride. Their ranks included many Japanese and European badges as well as a very rare 1911 Harley Davidson. The day continued with a Poker Rally before they cruised back to Wayne for dinner and entertainment.
There was a strong group of vintage bikes at this year’s rally.
One head turner was Tony Medernach’s 1911 Harley Davidson, one if just a handful left on the road.
Carlos Sanchez and his riding partner Angelo had the first place bike in the vintage category.
Some of the games included the joust.
