A man accused in a home invasion and sexual assault has pleaded guilty to two charges.
Luke Entz appeared in provincial court in Drumheller on Wednesday, May 4. He pleaded guilty to sexual assault with a weapon and break and enter with intent.
The charges stem from an incident on January 10 of this year, where it is alleged a Drumheller man opened the door of his apartment to another man asking to use the phone. The culprit, wearing a balaclava forced his way into the apartment and sexually assaulted the occupant.
On January 20, Entz was arrested and charged.
Entz pleaded guilty to the two charges. A presentence report and an assessment from the Forensic Assessment Outpatient Service were ordered. His sentencing is slated for September 16.
