Room for five directors on Drumheller Co-op board

co op

The Drumheller Co-op will be looking five new directors at its Annual General Meeting.
The Co-op has slated its Annual General Meeting for Wednesday April 20 at Greentree Mall. Controller Dave Kosolofski says the membership is charged with electing five directors. Two are for two-year terms and three are three-year terms.
For those interested in becoming a director, nomination forms are available at the Drumheller Co-op’s administration office.
Those wishing to become a director must be a member for more than a year and be in good standing. The potential director must also have purchases that exceed $2,500 in 2015.
Nominations must be received in writing by Wednesday April 13 to be considered.
The Annual General Meeting is also a chance for members to hear reports from the management and directors, and also review the financial report for the year that has passed.
The meeting is also a chance to meet the Drumheller’ Co-op new General Manager Brent Walker.
“He used to work for us in our Stettler branch,” explains Kosolofski. “Then he went to Innisfail and now he is coming from Rocky Mountain House.”
He started at the Drumheller Co-op on March 28.
