Good Friday Walk of the Cross

On Good Friday, March 25, Drumheller’s Christian Ministerial Association will host the annual Walk of the Cross.  The walk represents the final footsteps that Jesus took on his last days of his life.
According to Drumheller’s St. Anthony’s  Deacon, Gary Haney, “The Walk of the Cross event has been growing for the past two years. In 2014, there were only about 20 participants and last year we had over 50 people come out.
Everyone is able to carry the Cross, including children with their parents helping.  Carrying the Cross can be very emotional and all people, Christians and non Christians, should learn about the event, and participate in the Walk of the Cross.”
The Walk of the Cross will start at 1:00 PM in front of St. Anthony’s church, on 3rd St. West in Drumheller.
