Chief Education Officer Dave Watson spoke about Hope College and their new opportunity for the public to sit in on classes starting in the upcoming semester.
The opportunity called Audit means anyone can take the course and learn all about it for a fraction of the regular price. There are no exams or accreditation in the audit classes. Massage Therapy is exempt due to the hands-on requirements.
Hope College has seen more and more people come in for educational programs due to the downturn in the economy. Out of work people are changing their careers and require the accreditation or the audit knowledge that Hope College can provide. Students are pursuing further education versus joining the work force upon graduation and employers are looking for qualified and educated employees.
If you are on Employment Insurance, perhaps you will qualify for funding. Service Canada is available at Drumheller Alberta Works every Wednesday at 180 Riverside Drive, 2nd floor, above Riverside Dental Clinic.
