Drumheller RCMP is investigating suspicious activity over night in Willow Estates.

Constable Rachel Pergunas was called out to a home at 6:30 A.M. December 15, 2015 to investigate an incident where a vehicle’s ignition was punched out. It appears the person responsible was busy last night trying to get into cars, garages and houses.

Constable Pergunas said “It’s all the same person. They basically hop-scotched one place to the next by trying garage doors, house doors and car doors. When they couldn’t get into one, they moved on to the next. “

The RCMP confirmed that so far, only one vehicle was damaged. Constable Pergunas walked through the neighborhood and spoke to residents asking them to check to see if anything was missing. RCMP recovered a vehicle that had been stolen out of Chestemere.
