Westergard Ford and Western Financial Group teamed up to celebrate a Family Christmas. Two truck loads of gifts were collected for Toys for Tots.
On December 5, staff from Westergard and Western Financial Group were busy entertaining families, taking donations of gifts and toys. Santa was busy getting special gift requests from children and having their pictures taken. Norma DeBernardo gave free rides on her horse drawn carriage. Natalie Flaman did face painting free. There was also free donuts and popcorn.
Westergard’s General Manager Steven O’Dwyer said “We were just looking for something to do within the community, to give back and provide some extra joy to unfortunate kids. We’ve had fantastic support from the community and businesses. It’s heartwarming to see. This is our first year and given the success we’ve had, this will be something to carry on in the future.”
Rod Fox of Western Financial Group said they are proud to be part of this community and enjoy giving back through events such as this. They have teamed up with Westergard to bring some Christmas cheer to the people of Drumheller.
