On Wednesday, November 18, at Greentree School, a presentation was given for Bullying Awareness Week. Stephanie Koller’s grade 4 class displayed a reader’s theatre performance and recited words about victims who are being bullied.
They told how the bully is only looking for attention. Their story touched on the do’s and don’t’s of a victim. Don’t give the bully what he wants - crying or yelling. Do ignore the bully and act like you don’t care, go to people who can help you like the principal or other adults.
Their main message was that: victims need your help and you need to stand up to bullying.
