Town Council held its organizational meeting, November 2, 2015 and the appointments are as follows:
Mayor Terry Yemen was appointed to Drumheller Chamber of Commerce, Disaster Service Committee, Community Standard Appeal Commission, Economic Development Task Force, Red Deer Municipal Users Group, Aqua 7 Steering Committee, Revitalization Corporation and a Provincial appointment to the Canadian Badlands Ltd.
Councillor Patrick Kolafa was appointed to Airport Commission, Drumheller & District Solid Waste Management Association, Drumheller Public Library Board, Disaster Services Committee, Taxi Commission and a Provincial appointment to the Canadian Badlands Ltd.
Councillor Tom Zariski was appointed to Municipal Planning Commission, Community Advisory Committee, Police Committee, Crime Stoppers, Citizens on Patrol, Drumheller and District Seniors Foundation and Heritage Steering Committee.
Councillor Sharel Shoff was appointed to Municipal Planning Commission, Palliser Regional Municipal Services, Community Futures, Assessment Review Board, Revitalization Corporation and Badlands Facility Fundraising Committee.
Chief Administrative Officer Ray Romanetz was appointed to Drumheller & District Solid Waste Management Association and Aqua 7 Steering Committee.
Councillor Tara McMillan was appointed to Valley Bus Society, Communities in Bloom, Economic Development Task Force and Drumheller and District Humane Society.
Director of Infrastructure Services Alan Kendrick was appointed to Valley Bus Society.
Councillor Lisa Hansen-Zacharuk was appointed to Drumheller Agriculture and Stampede Board, Sub-division and Development Appeal Board, Communities in Bloom, Community Standards Appeal Committee, Assessment Review Board and Badlands Facility Fundraising Committee.
Councillor Jay Garbutt was appointed to Drumheller Housing Administration, Sub-division and Development Appeal Board, Disaster Service Committee, Community Standards Appeal Committee, Taxi Commission and Provincial Appointment to Canadian Badlands Ltd.
Rod Viske was appointed to Assessor.
Karen Ann Bertamini, Don Guidolin and Keith Hodgson were all appointed to Sub-division and Development Appeal Board expiring at the 2016 Annual Organizational meeting.
Scott Kuntz was appointed to Municipal Planning Commission, for a three year term, expiring at the 2018 Annual Organizational meeting.
Adrian Hartman, Andy Neuman and Summer Manca were appointed to Economic and Development Task Force, for a three year term, expiring at the 2018 Annual Organizational meeting.
