Happy Canada Day, wasn't that a party?

canada-day-pics.jpg(Clockwise from left) There was a whole load of Hoys on the parade route. So many in fact it filled a flat bed trailer. The 90 descendents of Ellen Hoy packed on a float for the Hoy family reunion on the Canada Day Weekend. Rebecca Neuman a.k.a. Dolly, belts out a tune with Eric Neuman at her side, promoting Kaleidoscope Theatre's latest production, Hello Dolly, that opens on July 9. Tyson Anderson, left serves up some hot pancakes and syrup to Sydney, Carter and their mother Sandra Peers before the Parade at the annual Kinsmen Pancake Breakfast at Riverside Value Drug Mart. Jaydee Bixby was back in the valley to celebrate the holiday and to launch his new CD. He performed at Red's on Monday, June 30, and then at John Anderson Park on Canada Day, and Fred Makowecki was a welcome sight for parade spectators with hand fulls of freezie pops.
