The Sports, Recreation and Arts Expo is making a return to the Badlands Community Facility (BCF) this September.
The Expo, which has been taking place for over five years, will be on Wednesday, September 9 from 4-8 p.m. The event is the kick-off for the fall season and is an opportunity for children, and adults to get registered for sports, recreation and arts activities in the Drumheller community.
“We anticipate about 30 to 35 exhibitors for the fall expo,” Guy Latour, Business Manager of the BCF said.
The amount of exhibitors vary, he said, because the expo is put on both in the spring and the fall so the exhibitors depend on the season. He told the Mail there are several sports exhibitors as well as arts and cultural exhibitors.
There are two opportunities to be an exhibitor at the event. Organizations can have a booth, or they can do a demonstration of why those in attendance should join that activity or club.
Latour said if there are any organizations that would like to be a part of the Sports Expo, they can contact him at the BCF.
The deadline to register is August 29, and the application can be found at www.dinosaurvalley.com/index.php/pdf-files/files/bcf/201-sports-expo-reg-form-september-2015.
