Following completion of construction and final approval from Alberta Health Services, the new Drumheller Aquaplex waterslide is now open to the public. The Town recognizes that this will be a welcome addition to our aquatic facility operations and will provide years of enjoyment for people of all ages.
Deputy Mayor Jay Garbutt notes “we know many have been excited about the opening and we thank everybody for their patience. Now it’s time for everybody to enjoy this great new addition to the indoor pool.”
Drumheller Aquaplex is a full service aquatic facility which operates a 35 metre, 6 lane indoor pool complete with hot tub, steam room, and waterslide. During the summer swim season the outdoor 6 lane pool is in operation for enhanced service to the public including swimming lessons and public swimming activities.
