Dragons take win in game one of first playoff series against the Grizzlys



The Drumheller Dragons secured the first win in their playoff series against the Olds Grizzlys Wednesday night. 
The Grizzlys opened the scoring at 10:40 of the first period, but Mitchell Cook scored, his first of two, at 11:15 to make it a tie game by the end of the first.
Cook scored the Dragons second at 4:58 followed by Ryan Jevne’s goal which gave the Dragons a 3-1 lead. Ryan Suchorab scored the Dragons fourth goal before Olds came back to score their second, and final, goal of the game late in the second period. 
Hunter Mills gave the Dragons a three goal lead at 17:29 of the third period to make the final score 5-2. 
The Dragons head back to Memorial Arena Thursday night to play game two of the series, before heading to Olds Saturday for game three. Game time is 7 p.m. at Memorial Arena.
