Cenovus Energy gave a boost to Dalum’s completion of it’s new fire hall Wednesday, October 15.
Dalum volunteer fire fighters were on hand to accept the $100,000 donation for the Dalum Fire Protection Association from Cenovus' Grasslands Division, which covers southern Alberta.
“We’re pleased to be able to help these dedicated fire fighters get the facilities they need to provide the best possible fire protection to the local community,” said Leanne Courchesne of Cenovus’ Community Investment.
Dalum was able to move vehicles into the new hall the end of August,  and Dalum Fire Chief Albert Jensen said the new hall is fully functional.
