After Mayor Yemen declared a local state of emergency at 6:45am – the Town has been working diligently on plans to handle expected flooding including the re-evaluation of evacuation plans and the establishment of an Emergency Reception Centre at the Drumheller Co-op Mall.
The Town of Drumheller is bracing for a 1 in 100 Flood event and efforts to curtail major damage to the community will continue to be ramped-up today.
