Drumheller emergency personnel were called into action Friday after a motor vehicle collided with a street lamp.
At roughly 3:00 p.m. a lone elderly male was driving west along Riverside Drive when he jumped the curb near 16 Street East and the front right section of his vehicle collided with a street lamp. The impact was great enough to set off the vehicle's airbag.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated by Emergency Medical Services.
