100 years and counting

On Saturday, July 28 the Munson Fire Department celebrated 100 years by gathering at the Fire Hall for a barbecue and family fun. The Munson Volunteer Fire Department was established on July 29, 1912. The antique fire hose, which the Munson Fire Department had bought in 1914, was loaned back to them for the celebration courtesy of The Homestead Museum. In the photo is: Deputy Fire Chief Dan Lawrence, Mike Burfield, Jaime Phoenix, Duane Phoenix,  Jeff Sharpe, Bradley Lawrence, Fire Chief Steve Wannstrom, Brett Adams, Kevin Burfield, Kerry Sharpe, and Doug Stanger Jr.
