Preliminary set for Hanna double murder suspect

The preliminary inquiry for a man accused in the murder of two people in Hanna earlier this year has been set as of Friday, July 13. The date of the inquiry for Curtis Rideout has been set for January 13-18, 2013.

Rideout appeared in provincial court in Drumheller on Friday via closed circuit television. Rideout remains in custody.

On March 8, 2012, Hanna was shaken to the core when the Hanna RCMP received a call from a man who told them he had killed two people. RCMP investigated and found the bodies of two people.

Rideout is accused of slaying 47-year-old Bruce Wade Rideout, his father, and 39-year-old Tammy Euteneier on March 8, 2012. He has been charged with one count of first degree murder for the death of Euteneier and one count of second degree murder for the death of Bruce Rideout.
