Groups support facility with colossal donations

Two community groups are pitching in to help the Badlands Community Facility.

On Wednesday, July 11, Herman, Kloot, and Company and the Drumheller Lions donated substantial sums to the new facility.

Herman, Kloot, and Company donated $25,000 to the Badlands Community Facility.

“This firm is committed to this community. We want to see our community thrive, grow, and have stability. It’s a beautiful facility, and we want to see phase 2,” said Colin Kloot.

The Drumheller Lions added to their previous donation. Two years ago, the Lions donated $16,000 to the facility. They have now donated an additional $15,000 to the facility.

“We’re adding to our first donation. It’s a great facility for out town and the Lions want to be part of it,” said Tony Lacher, with the Lions.

“Our mandate is to help the Drumheller community, and that’s what this donation is about,” said Clark Layden, president of the Lions.

The Badlands Community Facility is hard at work raising money to help the new facility and make the next phase of construction possible. Anyone interested in donating can contact Heather Little, Marketing and Events Officer for the facility, at hlittle@dinosaurvalley.com.
