Rotary Club brings Vegas to town

It’s sure to be a night of fun, on Friday, June 1 at the Badlands Community Facility, when the Rotary Cub hosts “Vegas Night.”

“We hope it’s a festive atmosphere and to bring something that normally wouldn’t be in Drumheller.” said Scott Kuntz, a member of Drumheller’s Rotary Club who is helping to organize the event.

This is one of the various fundraisers the Rotary Club hosts, including The White Elephant Sale and The Radio Auction. Funds  raised will be donated to the St. Anthony’s School playground.

Attendees will be given funny money upon arrival, to which they can take their chances playing crown and anchor, black jack and roulette. Guests will also be given coupons which will enable them to bid on prize packages donated by local businesses, the Flames, the Phil Harmonic Orchestra, and many more. Food and drink will also be available to accompany the festive evening.

At the end of the night, a draw will be made for a grand prize of a $1,000 travel voucher for anywhere in
