Boogie on down to Drumheller Chrysler May 26

For many in the valley a sure sign of spring is shined chrome, candy apple red, duel exhaust and white walled tires.

And then it is time to Boogie.

The 16th annual Boogie in the Badlands is slated to go at Drumheller Chrysler on May 26. This is one of the first chances to boost the battery and idle out your garage creation for car buffs. It has also become the biggest show and shine in the valley.

Organizer Bryan Telford wants it to grow even more. Already the event typically fills the Drumheller Chrysler parking lot. There is strong contingent of local cars, cars from out of town and entries from the Northern Mopars car club at the show. All makes and models are welcome, including works in progress.

The show goes from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m. They are planning to have music, concession, a raffle table and door prizes. The one trophy they award each year is a “Viewers Choice” award, and invariably it goes to a unique whip.

The show is also for a good cause. It is only $5 to enter a car at the show and the proceeds go to the Drumheller and District Humane Society.
