Husky Energy supports Badlands Community Facility

The Badlands Community Facility (BCF) is receiving another substantial donation that is directed to the creation of the new library.
Husky Energy is giving the BCF $25,000 to help pay for the construction of the new building.
“It’s great, we really appreciate all of the support we get from the donors in making an important piece of infrastructure a reality,” said Heather Little, marketing and events officer for the Town of Drumheller.
The money will be used to pay for the capital costs of the new library. The donation will not be going towards programming or new books, for example.
For inquiries about making a donation to the new facility, contact Little at 403-823-1333.
The donation will be taking place at the front entrance of the BCF today at 11:00 a.m.
