How long have you been in Drumheller? Four and a half years.
Where are you originally from? I am originally from Calgary but moved here from Lethbridge when I had completed my Music Degree in 2005.
What do you like about your job? The staff and customers are the favourite part of my job. I enjoy meeting and getting to know people.
If you were granted three wishes from an angel or genie, what would they be? World peace, an end to world hunger, to live a long, healthy life so I can watch my great grandchildren grow up.
What’s your favourite movie and why?
Documentaries are my favourite type of movie. Planet Earth is my favourite movie/TV series. I enjoy learning about the earth and its inhabitants.
What was your New Year’s Resolution? Exciting New Beginnings and Happy Endings.
Has reading a book ever changed your life? If yes, which one? Yes, The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck was the first novel I read that I enjoyed. I was 18 and after reading this book I decided to go to University and I became an avid reader.
If your life were a song what would the title be? The Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolia Rimsky- Korsakov. I’m always going, going, going.
If you were reborn, who would you want to be reborn as? Wynton Marsalis! He has been one of my biggest inspirations.
If you found a $100 bill what would you do?
I would probably take it to the RCMP office and ask that if it did not get claimed that they donate it to The Salvation Army or the Humane Society.
If you could retire tomorrow, what would you do? Clean my house, finish all the craft projects I started, read all the books I started, visit all the people I promised, learn to play the piano, go to China, Japan, India and South Africa…..wait a minute, it looks like I would be just as busy as I am now!
If you could travel back in time and meet yourself as a 10 year old kid, what advice would you give yourself? Have fun and do what makes you happy.
If you could be Prime Minister for a day, what would you do? I would make sure there was a fine arts program in every school. Music, Art, and Drama would be available to every student.
