What do you like most about your job? I have an opportunity to listen to several different perspectives around the community.
How long have you been here? I started here in October.
Where are you from originally? Nova Scotia.
What do you like most about living here? The community spirit and quiet.
Any destinations on your bucket list? Machu Pichu, because it’s such a spiritual place, and Thailand.
Who would you like to hang out with for a day? Oprah. She’s a very intelligent, savvy, and entrepreneurial woman.
Any hobbies? I build furniture out of recycled wood and willow.
Do you collect anything? When I go to different places, I like to grab a rock, take it home, and write a note for each describing it and where I found it.
Favourite movies: To Sir With Love, because it is the most impactful movie I’ve watched, and Freedom Writers.
Favourite books: The Celestine Propechy by James Redfield.
What would you do with $1 million? Start a consulting and motivational speaking business and each time I would speak, I’d donate to and volunteer in that community.
Dream Car? I love riding my motorcycle. I would love a souped-up Monte Carlo.
Any words of wisdom? You can never fail, unless you give up and do what you got to do.
