HELP WANTED... Kneehill Area Family Coach Part Time Position. Golden Prairie Parent Link is seeking an engaging, energetic, creative, and flexible individual to fill the position of Family Coach starting April 2017. This is a part time (27 hours per week) year to year contract position. Under the direction of the Parent Link Supervisor, the Family Coach will be responsible for the delivery of Parent Link programs and service in Acme, Carbon, Linden, Three Hills, Trochu and Kneehill County area to our target audience of children ages 0-6 and their parents/caregivers. Position duties will include: planning, delivering and evaluating family early childhood programs, parent education and parent consultations, providing and supporting developmental screening and referrals.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a two-year diploma in a social and/or human services discipline;
- Group facilitation and training skills – working with adults and children;
- Knowledge of early childhood development;
- Understanding of the needs of parents, children and families;
- An ability to gather and record data for statistical and reporting purposes
Salary dependent on experience and education. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. Evening and weekend work will be necessary. The closing date for receiving resumes is Friday, March 24 or until a suitable candidate is found.
