Hanna RCMP respond to single vehicle fatality

On Thursday, August 3 at 7:10 am, Hanna RCMP were called to a report of a single vehicle roll over on secondary Highway 586, North-East of Hanna.

Upon arrival, officers found a Ford F-150 had gone off the road and rolled, landing upside down in a creek. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 50-year-old man from the Little-Smoky area who was working in the Consort area was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe that the collision occurred hours earlier but was undiscovered until the morning. Next of Kin has been notified by RCMP and the name of the deceased will not be released.
